Cleanvio Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Cleanvio. By booking or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and a consistent high standard of service for both parties.


1. Scope of Services


Cleanvio provides professional residential and commercial cleaning services, including Standard Cleans, Deep Cleans, Move-In/Out Cleans, and Post-Construction Cleans. Additional extras may be booked separately and will be confirmed in writing or through our online booking system.

All services are carried out with professionalism and care, within the agreed scope and timeframe.


Service Types


  • Standard Clean – General upkeep and maintenance, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, and light tidying of visible areas.
  • Deep / First-Time Clean – A detailed, restorative clean addressing buildup areas, skirting boards, door frames, and under/behind accessible furniture and appliances.
  • Move-In/Out or Post-Construction Clean – A full top-to-bottom clean for vacant or renovated properties, including inside cupboards and appliances where accessible.
     

Certain buildup (e.g., limescale, grease, or mould) may require multiple sessions for full removal.
 

2. Pricing and Payment


Cleanvio operates under two pricing structures:

  • Time-Based Cleans (Recurring Services) – For weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly bookings, cleaning is charged by the hour. The team will complete as much as possible within the booked time, prioritising agreed areas.
  • Job-Based Cleans (One-Off / Deep Cleans) – For one-time or first-time visits, pricing is provided as a flat rate based on property size, layout, and condition.
     

Final prices may vary if the property requires additional time or work beyond the original estimate.


Payment Terms


  • Payment is due on or before the day of service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Accepted methods: Revolut, bank transfer, cash, or contactless card payments.
     

3. Deposits


A 25% deposit may be required to secure your booking, especially for first-time, deep, or large-scale cleans.

  • Deposits must be paid within 24 hours of confirmation to hold your appointment.
  • Deposits are deducted from the final balance upon completion.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment result in forfeiture of the deposit.
  • Cancellations made earlier than 48 hours will receive a full refund or may be rescheduled at no charge.
     

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling


  • Clients must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
  • Cancellations or no-shows within 48 hours of the appointment may incur a 50% fee of the total booking cost.
  • If the cleaner arrives and cannot gain access (locked property, no key, etc.), a €25 call-out fee may apply.
  • Cleanvio reserves the right to reschedule or cancel appointments in exceptional circumstances such as severe weather, illness, or unforeseen events, with as much notice as possible.
     

5. Access and Property Conditions


Clients are responsible for providing:

  • Safe and timely access to the property.
  • Access to electricity and running water.
  • A toilet brush in each bathroom (Cleanvio does not provide or reuse these).
  • A safe, clutter-free environment for cleaning.
     

If excessive buildup, clutter, or poor property condition is encountered, Cleanvio may focus on priority areas or adjust the quote before proceeding.


6. Supplies and Equipment


Cleanvio provides all professional products and tools required for service delivery.
We do not supply:

  • Step ladders over 2 steps or specialised equipment for high areas.
  • Exterior window cleaning tools.
  • Hazardous waste disposal materials.
  • Toilet Brushes, If you do not have a toilet brush available, note we do not carry one as this is for health and safety & cross contamination concerns.
     

Clients may request specific eco or allergen-safe products in advance, which will be accommodated where possible.


7. Client Conduct


All clients are expected to maintain a respectful and professional relationship with Cleanvio staff.
Any form of aggressive, intimidating, or inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate service termination, with full payment due for time worked. Cleanvio reserves the right to refuse future service to any client who violates this policy.


8. Satisfaction Guarantee


If you are dissatisfied with any part of your clean, please notify Cleanvio within 24 hours of completion.
We will review your concern and, if appropriate, arrange a re-clean of the affected area at no charge.

After 24 hours, all cleans are considered completed to standard.
Note: Stains, rust, or buildup that cannot be removed by normal cleaning are not covered by this guarantee.


9. Liability and Damage


Cleanvio is insured for accidental damage caused by staff negligence. However, liability is limited to:

  • The direct cost of repair or replacement (up to the value of the service provided).
     

Cleanvio is not liable for:

  • Pre-existing wear, staining, or damage.
  • Items not securely fixed or of fragile nature.
  • Unsealed surfaces, porous stone, or improper materials.
  • Damage arising from poor maintenance or unsuitable conditions.
     

All claims must be reported within 24 hours of the service.


10. Photos and Documentation


Cleanvio may take discreet before-and-after photos for training, insurance, or quality control.
Photos will never be shared publicly without written consent from the client.


11. Privacy and Data Protection


Cleanvio respects your privacy and handles all personal data in line with GDPR and applicable Irish data protection laws.
Information collected is used solely to manage bookings, communicate with clients, and deliver services.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties except as required by law.

12. Termination of Service


Either party may end this agreement with reasonable notice.
Cleanvio may terminate service immediately if:

  • Working conditions are unsafe,
  • Payment is repeatedly missed, or
  • Staff are subjected to aggression or disrespectful conduct.
     

All outstanding balances remain payable for time worked up to termination.


13. Changes to Terms


Cleanvio may update or modify these Terms and Conditions periodically.
Updates will be reflected on our website, with the revised “Last Updated” date displayed.
Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
